Bruce Anttila van Hoover, native of Wisconsin, studied fine art and music at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee before transferring to the prestigious Ringling College of Art and
Design. In 1998, Bruce was part of a team that
won a Gold Student Award from the Academy of
Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for an animated
short film competition. Bruce graduated with his BFA in Graphic and Interactive Communication and a minor in Photography. During the
past 14 years Bruce
has continued to make an impression regionally
and nationally. His work has appeared on MTV,
CNBC and Fox networks and was recognized
by the American Advertising Federation. Bruce’s clients include
non-profits, higher education, manufacturing,
health and medical, real estate, tourism, technology,
aviation and maritime industries.
Although known primarily as a graphic designer, Bruce
is also an accomplished musician, photographer and fine artist.
He typically incorporates elements from various media into his
projects.
Bruce’s commitment to his craft extends
to pro-bono work for a number of public service
non-profits including organizations such as Planned
Parenthood, Montana West Economic Development,
Flathead Area Young Professionals and Success
in the New West, a fund-raising event focusing
on the future success of the Flathead Valley.
